DMCA & Content Removal Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
This page explains how Logitly AI ("we", "us", or "our") handles copyright concerns and content removal requests, including notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
1. Which Removal Option Is Right for You?
- To stop our AI agents from visiting your website: see our Bot & Agent Policy.
- To remove content from a dataset or benchmark we have released publicly: see Option A, email us a removal request (Section 2).
- To file a formal copyright infringement claim: see Option B, send a DMCA notice (Section 3).
- To remove the original file from the internet: contact the website or host where the file is published. We cannot remove content we do not host.
2. Option A: Remove Content from Our Public Datasets or Benchmarks
If you believe one of our publicly released datasets or benchmarks contains content that belongs to you or should not be included, email us at the address in Section 6.
Please include:
- The name and version of the dataset or benchmark
- The specific entries, file paths, record IDs, or URLs concerned
- A description of your content and your relationship to it (for example, copyright owner or authorized agent)
- Your full name and contact information
We will review your request and reply within 5 business days. If the request is valid, we will remove or replace the affected content in future releases and update our public distribution channels (see our About page for where we publish).
Copies of earlier dataset versions that third parties have already downloaded are outside our control.
3. Option B: Formal DMCA Takedown Notice
To submit a formal notice of copyright infringement, email us at the address in Section 6.
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough information for us to locate it (for example, dataset name, version, and record IDs)
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
We will review complete notices and act promptly. We aim to respond within 7 business days.
Please note: Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a DMCA notice may make you liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, you may email a counter-notification to the address in Section 6. It must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the U.S., any judicial district where we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice
- Your physical or electronic signature
We will process valid counter-notifications in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In appropriate circumstances, we will stop collecting data from sources, and stop working with contributors or partners, who are the subject of repeated valid infringement claims.
